Article – Loi 25

 

Qu’en est-il de la Loi 25 et du courtage immobilier.

 

Cette Loi 25 vise la protection des renseignements personnels.

  • Les renseignements personnels sont par défaut considérés comme confidentiel.
  • La personne dont on recueille les renseignements personnels doit consentir (sauf exception) à l’utilisation, la communication et la conservation de ceux-ci.

 

Le courtier doit alors s’assurer de la confidentialité des informations personnelles recueillis et le devoir de confidentialité s’étend aussi à ses employés.

De plus, le courtier doit s’assurer que ses registres et dossiers sont conservés de manière sécuritaire et à en préserver la confidentialité.

 

Je crois que cette Loi 25 est excellent et vise à protéger le public au sens large.

 

À cet effet, le courtier fera signer un formulaire désigné à cet effet, clair et précis à tous clients pour assurer la confidentialité et l’usage des renseignements personnels.
